Speaking of being alone...

My NY resolution this year is to join up in an organised club. OOPS is probably at the top of the list, but I havent mey anybody from there yet. I know from the sailing days that there are differences between clubs, but perhaps not so in the kayaking world? Any good / bad comments here? Any OOPS members on the board?
