: I have been teaching kayakers to roll since the 1970s and have long ago
: abandoned the “one size fits all” approach to teaching the kayak roll. At

Hi Spe,

Thanks for posting to this board. It is a great group of folks.

I am in Puerto Montt now and heading to Punta Arenas on Monday for a month in Campo de Hielo Sur.

Translation to the folks on the board. I scored a Shipton Tilman grant from Goretex last spring and I am now working out logistics for a big kayak exploration into the Southern Ice Fields of Chile, specifically, Seno Peel, with an editor friend from Outside Magazine. We should be underway around the 10th of February and I hope to be back on this board in mid March with tales of success. Chris is a great resource in the whitewater world and shows up in the Performance videos by Kent Ford.
