I've used Croakies, but they don't make them as thick as they used to. I now use Chums. These work well enough for rolling, even in moderate whitewater, but I doubt anything is surf-proof. A good source of functional sunglasses cheap enough that you won't cry when you lose them is your local industrial or welding supply store, where they can be found for less than $20 in the safety glass section.
