Dave, It's very very very common for new rollers to have lapses. It's also very common for their heads to get soooo full of weird thoughts that rolling (like math or navigation) becomes this mysterious thing. Get back with a good helper who rolls well and focus on the the steps that you learned. Biggest errors that I see are 1. GOING FOR AIR - POOR HIPSNAP 2. BODY LOCKED UNDER THE BOAT WITH NO TORSO MOVEMENT - ARMS ONLY. This is normal and you have already rolled, so you know it's easy, it's just a question of repetition of the correct skills. Keep at it and only fill your subconcious head with positive thoughts. Watching rolling videos is very helpful for many folks who are visual learners. "Grace Under Pressure" is excellent.
