Necky or Perception sea kayak?

Hi! I'm not sure if this is the right forum for such a question, but I'm planning on buying a sea-kayak soon. I'm not very experienced yet, I have taken an intro to expedition sea kayaking course and have paddled a couple of times. I want to do adventure trips in remote areas for a week or so at a time. I work at REI in Sacramento and I can pro-deal a sea kayak but I don't know what one to get and there aren't many experienced sea kayakers at our store. I thought I'd try over here! I think I have narrowed my choices down to a Perception Eclipse or one of the Necky models. Any advice? Thanks!
