: would know how to possibly recover.I agree that such a demonstration should be done, but she should have to participate, preferably from the water. I've been involved with such a rescue and it's a real bitch to do. It took three people to empty the swamped boat. My fear if she was allowed to merely observe such a rescue is that she'd just brush it off by saying something like "see, it's no big deal". It never ceases to amaze me how cavalier some people are with their life, their safety and their health. Sometimes it takes a slap up aside the head to wake them up.
