: Thanks, Jed.
: I live near Framingham so that pool is an easy haul. Maybe I'll haul on up
: your way some time to say hi and get some coaching.I just posted the last of the openings for the NH sessions on the NSPN message board. But if you've a mind to visit God's country, give me a yell and we'll figure something out. Who know's I may even drive down to Framingham sometime and visit the old stomping grounds.
: Since you run pool sessions, what's the protocol on bringing a boat? Mine's
: 14'6" so it is short for a SK but still longer than a WW hull. I'd
: like to learn and practice in my own boat, but is that too long for pool
: sessons? All of our sessions are based on seakayaks with 17'+ being the norm. So a 14'6" boat will easily fit at any of the NSPN pool sessions. We do not expect people to show up in anything but their normal seakayaks. That being said, some people prefer to practice with the shorter WW boats, and while their use is not discouraged at the pools sessions they are in the clear minority.
The boats and other equipment do however need to be clean before they are used in the pool. We don't want to get too much seaweed and sand in those pretty pools.
Keep in touch, we should definately hook up at the pool sessions so you can report back to this message board how comical it is to see my fat _ss rolling and flailing around in the pool. ;-)
