Experiences! They are not scratches, they are experiences and they say some can read the bottom of your boat like tea leaves. I knew a terrific whitewater paddler who tried and tried to spin on a rock to add a beautiful spiral to the bottom of his rodeo boat- almost like leaving a donut with a 69 Roadrunner!
