This is a great discussion. I would be interested to hear what some of the Southern California paddlers are wearing. I am just getting started. It seams that we could have and interesting divergence of needs. The water can be cold, but the air temperatures can be quite warm.

I have read about some wet-suit materials that are breathable. Does anyone have experience with them?
