What you are saying about vans being expensive at the pump is true but I use the bus to get to work in the city every day and its a 2 mile drive to the bus stop. I also hear what your saying about saftey in heavy winds, a few people I have asked about vans and kayaks have suggested a lowering kit for the vans suspension. I never thought I would even want a truck or van Its just that my little Nissan has been suffering lately from all the beach trips Ive been taking (no matter how much I clean it always has 10 lbs of sand in it and stinks of wet neoprene). I also own a ww boat and a wave ski so I need something big to drag it all with me,. I was just wondering if there was some sort of extention bar you could use off the back to help get the boat up there or somthing? So I guess I just need to sit down and weigh out the good and bad points.
