: Jim Many people use a full size truck with a cap on the back to move canoes. They go up the back and slide it up. Hully rollers might work. Saddles would be tough unless you slide the door open and stand to twist the boat on edge before you unload. Stackers might work the best. Will it fit in your garage, especially with 3 inches of snow under the wheels? What about mileage? Will you be able to afford to go anywhere?Full size vans are brutal in a crosswind and not safe on some bridges because of wind. I have seen small trailers used and they reduce the chance of an old guy like me hurting himself tugging on the boat. These small trailers can be swung around by hand and are slick. Good luck!
