a little stressed out there robert? well i would be too if i spent my whole summer building a boat. you know what helps me when i'm stressed? Kayaking.

like i said, a fast kayak can only take you so far. but a durable kayak can take you even further, just not as fast. hey rob, if speed is the first and foremost reason you build wooden kayaks, shouldn't you get a composite? or try to make one?

wooden boats are nice....wouldn't wanna scratch something that nice looking...I'd be too paranoid. Personally i rather be out on the water than spend my time building...hey but that's just me. I thought the seats were fine on my kayak....although you probably sat on the calabria, i don't think that came with padding. did you try adjusting it? Maybe it just wasn't made for your body. have fun with that wooden boat of yours rob.
