I looked at the Prijon. The new model that puts the wide part of the rudder under the pivot is really interesting. I think for now, as I rush to finish up my kayak before the end of summer, I'll wait on the rudder. I've got more than enough wood and glass on the stern of my modified (distorted?) Great Auk to be able to mount any rudder kit.
Anyone tried both the sliding rudder pedals, like the Yakima, and fixed footrests who can comment?
How about after several hours on the ocean?
What will I want under my feet after a full day out to Anacapa and back?
