SOF kayaks don't require a shop or garage. The Inuit never had such luxuries.

You need a dry day to paint the skin. Anything else can be done in any weather.

SOF building seems to be a kid-friendly activity; both John D. and Marcel Rodriguez have built SOF's for their kids--with the kids in question.
