Thanks, Reg. I'll be absolutely thrilled if my nephew takes to kayaking, both white water and sea kayaking. What a treat to paddle the Colorado with your son! Sorry I had to bail out on that trip. It would have been a blast. I hope my WW plans work out better in 05, and I've got a lot of them brewing!

I'll have to stop by Sterling's shop some time to get a look at his kid's kayak in person. It looks very intriguing. Your Looksha IV sport looks like a beautiful boat, too, but I was thinking about something my nephew could really bang up. Not that I'd encourage that behavior, but boys will be boys.

I'm going to start a different thread about teaching kids to kayak and I'd very much like to hear about how you brought your son into the sport.
