Make sure y'all see House of Flying Daggers. Plenty of those Ghurka looking knives flying about.
Here's a real bear story for you.
This is from Gordon. He and some friends were camping in Yosemite up past the waterfalls. They went hiking down a trail and took a wrong turn somewhere along the way. The trail was well worn, but there were branches hanging a few feet above the trail. They couldn't figure how people had hiked this trail so regularly with these limbs in the way. But they followed it for a while. It ended at the rock face. There was a series of caves dug out between the fallen boulders and gravel and dirt (Yosemite is granite so you are not going to find long limestone caves). They were trying to figure out what they were. One of the guys walked into one and turned on his flashlight.
There was a pair of eyes looking back out at him. They'd all figured it out even before he started back peddling out of the cave.
They ran back along what they now knew was a bear trail, hooked up to the main trail and still ran a considerable distance back to their campsite. They sat down laughed about it and one guy-the nosey guy who went into the cave-started rolling a joint. That was when they saw the large brown bear ambling into their camp. Not knowing what else to do they ran into one of the tents.
The bear looked around a bit, picked up the bag of pot and walked back the way he'd come.I figured this was a better story to share thant he one in Gao Xing's Soul Mountain where the reporter insisted on getting his photo taken hugging a panda. It bit off his tes.... well you'll have to read the book.
