: will, it is the next thing to learn on the list!Slow sculling while lying with your back in the water (Greenland sculling) works surprisingly well in rough water. I've never done it with a loaded boat, but if it's loaded properly, with all the heaviest gear against the hull, it should make it easier, rather than harder. The same would be true of balance bracing, though I would probably not try it in rough conditions.
