Many thanks for the pics Robert, my bailout bag is very similar to your ditch kit. I've had a bit of a problem stowing it lately, as it interferes with my waist-worn tow system, essential for group trips.
As a result I've had to choose between strapping the tow bag to the deck while wearing the bailout bag, or wearing the tow system and stowing the bailout bag behind the seat. (Kinda defeats the purpose)
I'll try your idea this afternoon, the ice is only out from the shoreline about ten feet here. Since the bag is so light, I can't see it making me topheavy, but I do wonder about interference during re-entries. The way I do a re-entry it probably wouldn't cause a problem, what has been your experience?Glenn
