: OK, I'm probably walking into a minefield here, but I would get an opinion
: from a real medical professional. I've had friends seriously hurt by
: chiropractors. I know I am making a gross over generalization, but I don't
: trust them. There are good and legit chiropracters and many who are not. I also have had friends hurt badly by chiropractors.
This is a good page for articles and links on how to evaluate yours, plus some other interesting articles.
Other possible options; single blade paddle kayaking from kneeling postion, rowing kayaks (My friend here has done that for years, faster, carries more gear, covers longer distances....see her book "Rowing to Latitudes"), a sliding seat kayak where your legs do more work and you don't need to twist....???
Hope you back heals and you get to keep enjoying the sport.Randy
