Not sure I'd want to try beach surfing the Night Heron. As an open water surfer it can't be beat. Very easy to accelerate to catch whatever is catchable...and, zooom. If you get a couple hundred pounds of green water over the foredeck, there's just nothing for it - got to ride it out.
