: !No secret that Corran is into surfing and has tried to bridge his river boats with ocean surfing capabilities. He is also known to do stand up surfing and wants to sit surfers to catch up in with the stand up moves.
Some folks think he is a major self promoter. He is, but he also brings some attention to surf kayaking. Not that one could see any tangible change in popularity (more the lack of). It will be among the young river runners, that the newer surf yakkers will be drawn from. I see young kids who are now out on the rivers with so much talent, skill and heart. Incredible enthusiasm and potential. They really are the future.
