Sorry I can't help. I agree there isn't much room in my SOF's and I use one of my strip built boats for tripping. I suggest you post the question on the Greenland BBs. I know Harvey Golden and a few others have experience and could answer your question. I can say that as a result of making repairs to broken ribs I now have access in my boat via the beckson hatches I installed to get at the ribs.
