remedied

the WR18 does have normal lean-to-turn characteristics but it would be a stretch of logic akin to a national election campaign to say something was remedied as that would require testing and comparisons with other sea kayak designs (of ANY construction) to know what was "under the bell curve".
The spread sheer clamp construction tends to make for sharp entries with substantial tension in the panels below the bow of the sheerclamp that limits possible shapes before the wires rip out,,that's why the WR18 is the first CLC kayak using a bulkhead in the bow. The other limit is that a bent deck to the very end restricts the height of the bow. Not that bow height entirely defines the entry, prismatic coefficient, or "bow volume" but bow height can have an influence on those elements especially when the bent deck tends to keep the bow low in order to keep the deck from folding. So the more rounded entry should be an improvement,,increased rocker and flatter midsection should be an improvement, development of chines in the midsection and running aft should be an improvement, but I wonder how the more foreward cockpit position (more stern) affects bow burying/broaching.
