: front. Instead, wait for the whole wake to go past and catch the growing
: waves at the back of the group. In this way you can catch the full run of
: the wave and get a longer ride.Also if it's a reasonably big boat (e.g. tugboat) with a big wake then it's not a good idea to get too close to the screw. Catching the wake a couple of waves back is safer too.
