: I was out on a paddle last weekend ,Point Abino,Lake Erie , stopped for a
: beach break and I found a ping pong paddle,washed up on the beach. I
: wondered if I could roll with it so I tried a standard Greenland ping pong
: roll,sweeping the paddle with my right hand,layback,hip flick and throw
: the left hand out 90 degrees to the boat for a counterbalance,no deal,I
: couldn't get up.
: Next I tried holdng the paddle in both hands at the surface and sweeping down
: and arching my back and dropping my head,C to C style,no layback.Swam
: again.Then I gave up and went back to my GP.( I guess my hip flick isn't
: as great as I thought it was).
: So I'm posing a question,has anyone tried this or if not how would you do it?
: Some folks roll with all kinds of strange things including nothing so how do

i learned to hand roll using a paddle float then letting more air out of it as i got it, now i can roll with just about anything maybe even a rock lol
