I have a very relaxed teaching style. I demonstrate, have the student do the technique and critique and then let the student find their own way. I constantly prod them when I see things that are harmful but many things I feel are more of the "teachers way" than really harmful. Every person is going to be a little different. Some will have a lot of head movement and others will have none. Everyone else is in between. If you paddle with no head movement that is one thing but if you expect all your students to be exactly the same that is another.
What is the worst thing that can happen with her head bob? IMNSHO, if her stroke makes her more fatigued you just need to prod her and she will find a way that works for her that is less tiring. if your method is more tiring for her, she will not change to it.
