I have a Wilderness First Responder and CPR that are current. I need them to keep my GC guide license current, teaching at a WW school and guiding in Chile, but most of all the knowledge adds a certain confidence to my own explorations and mischief. After each course I tend to get more focused on prevention so I won't have to exercise the skills.
