Wilderness first aid? (OT)

Last weekend, I got my wilderness first aid certification. Here in Canada, we can buy an epi-pen without a prescription and people trained in WFA can give the injections to others in wilderness settings only. (Actually, it's much cheaper to buy vials of epinephrine and give injections with standard syringes, so we learned to do that as well.) Our trainers warned us it could be illegal for us to adminster epinephrine to others in some American states.

Does anyone know if Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts and NY state allow WFA folks to carry syringes and inject epinephrine?
