Hello Pete,

Yes, there is a guy at West Indies Windsurfing down here that does it often, but he uses a sit-on-top. We are planning to try it in my kayak now that I have a rudder, which is a must to kite-yak.

I posted a question about kite-yaking a while back, and got a response from the guy below. He used it on a very long kayak trip. Photo courtesy of his site, linked below as well.
