Hi,

You`ll want excessive heat to escape the kayak. Store the kayak in an upward position - with the cockpit to the roof of your garage. If its nice and clean, then store the kayak without the cockpit covers and even remove or losen the hatches - this will let the hot air escape - its the excessive heat and increasing pressure that can cause warping on all kayaks. Also a suggestion is a very small hole positioned at the center of your bulkheads. We're talking a hole about the size of a pencil lead. Warping can also happen when the kayak is on the water and the temp. in your bulkheads is very high. The small hole will keep the pressure down.
