I have a Skerray RM. I too worried that the small cockpit would make rescues diffcult for me. However,I've found that paddle float and t-rescues are not a problem and I'm 5'9" 240#.

I do not have a roll.

I installed foam wedges as suggested earlier. They make the cockpit much tighter.
