: to the words "21" beam, and 18' hull, I said, tippy boat.The kayak shown below is my 17'8' x 20" kayak. It has incredible primary stability, more than many 22" to 24" wide kayaks. Stability and beam are related, but other factors, such and hull shape, length, and seat height factor into it.
