It's nice to know there are good folks out there in this world. I appreciate your concern.

Yes, you are absolutely correct that it's debatable whether or not a helmet would help in this situation. It was kind of a side impact, so I think it would have helped. I'm not here to make that argument. Actually I wanted to make the point that you never can tell what's going to happen. As for the eye, I regret to say that today it's much worse, and I'm most likely going to opt for the laser surgery. I have to read one-eyed right now.

Hey, I can always put on a pirate patch and run around robbing ships in my kayak. I can start all my sentences with "arrrrrrr." "Arrrrr matey, give me your gold or I'll hit you with me hard noggin.... Arrrrrr"
