more paddle questions.

I have a variety of euro paddles to experiment with and I am in the process of making a couple of cheap GPs to learn more about them.
But up here, there are no wing paddles to try, either for sale commercially or in the paddling community that I know of.
Bigger bucks but I'd like to have one.I usually paddle a 7.75x18 fairly flat sea kayak blade or white waterblade with an over all length of 215-220 cm. Pulling a larger blade at a slower cadence works better for my shoulders.
6'2",195 lbs., use a farily wide grip.
Most paddling is ocean touring in fairly remote areas, but would also like something for covering distance on fun day touring and exercise workouts.1. Does one usually use a longer or shorter wing paddle than euro paddle?
2. Does one usually use a larger or smaller blade size than euro paddle?
3. One manufacturer offers a large and small blade and there is only 1 cm difference in them. Simon River Shark. How much difference will this make?
4. Do the commercial wing paddles usually have a choice/option for feathering?
5. Is there much variety in the shapes (and performance characteristics) of the wing blades among the various manufacturers? How do the various shapes affect performance?
I'd really appreciate any and all feed back, including brands, prices paid, weights, lengths, adjustable locking shaft experience, personal favorites and why, and any thing that will help me with this purchase to get a good one and make my pocketbook feel thot about.
Thanks!
Randy
