: Excellent point about the oval. I cut the Werner down last night and just
: caught that factor at the last minute. My 235 was cut down by the factory
: from a 240 as I thought that was what I needed. I was able to cut it down
: to a 228, and do not think it could have gone farther, so 12 cm seems
: about the limit. How do you cut down the other side,-from where the shaft
: attaches to the paddle?? Get a new insert??The other paddles I cut down were one piece and I had some inserts to use with the new two piece length.
Not sure how one would get the insert loose to reposition/glue it on a Werner. If they are glued, a heat gun? If fiberglassed, drill out and replace?
The paddle I had to "oval" is in Arizona right now. When I get back down there, I will try to remove the insert some way and see if I can do it without ruining the shaft.
If you find something that works, let me know.
