No denying that. I love the Saguenay and similar boats like the Arluk III. I like the shape. I like the shear line. But then again I am not foolish enough to suggest that other boats are not sea kayaks.
And I am not foolish enough to tell you, directly or indirectly, that your boat sucks... even if I like another better.
For me, these poly boats, especially the Kodiaks, are utterly superior for the kind of paddling that I do... paddling on rocky coastlines. If this were not the case I would be in the Saguenay right now. Still I like the look and hype of the boat even though it is a bit irrational on my part to be ready to plunk down double the $$$ for a boat that is not well suited to my paddling places or style.
