Randy, I carved a GP out of a spruce 2x4. It's freshly oiled (Danish) and ready to go. If worse comes to worse, I can carve a GP out of a log along the way. That's what the big knife can be used for. I'll just whittle my time away. I think on a trip like this McGiverese thinking is critical to success, that's another reason why I am bringing hte duct tape and string.
