: Hey ya Robert,
: I tell you what, I was thinking about you this afternoon and evening on a
: paddle offshore and I'm firmly under the conviction that you're the kind
: of guy who lives for long and wild adventures. 'fess up, it's in your
: blood.: Take the fishing gear, we were real lucky on this last trip, and I'll post
: the reports and you'll see what I mean with the halibut caught when
: anchored at the Palisades. Nothing, as you well know, tastes better then
: fresh fish at the camp. Hey, what kind of alcohol ya taking? Definitely
: toss gear for room for the spirits!!! I can't empahasize that too much ya
: know.: later, gator, gotta swill some brews down now!
: -yer buds down in dagoland
Guiness (6-pack) and Chartreuse (375 ml bottle). The Chartreuse runs at 55 % so it's convenient that the bottle is small. I doubt I'll need a larger size. I'm truely not sure ghow wild I like my adventure to be but I will say that last year I seemed to be a good fit for adventure. I took it all stoically if that's enough to qualify me as an adventurer. Heehee! Does putting oneself in a difficult position qualify as well? If it do, then yeah, I'm the guy. I still don't mind civilization but only in small doses. Only 6 more days to go, Mike, then I'm outta here. We will be staying in Jasper, Alberta the night before the do the drive through the Rockies to get to teh put-in. That's about a 2 hr drive with the yak on the roof. The wife surprised me last night by buying me a nice little 7 oz. flask for medicine. Since the Chartreuse is an old fashioned tonic I'll call it medicine and keep it in the flask. Thing is, out there in the wild, you never know when you'll need medicine.
