Low power, too

In Response To: One cautionary note (Brian Nystrom)

According to the manual I downloaded the HX460 only transmits at 0.9 W power with the alkaline pack.

The thing that concerns me in general is that transmitting takes so much more power than receiving that it seems like you would have to be careful to leave plenty of reserve battery in case of emergency. How long can you transmit with, say 1/3 of your charge left?
