I've always used mine "wet". When I first got the radio, I put it in my kid's bathtub, and operated it in WX, TX, and RX modes...no water, no problems. Figured I wanted to know if it would be a problem before I actually needed it out in the "wet".

I rinse mine after use in salt water; just let it dry in the pocket of my PFD while the PFD is drying. 1.5 years and no problems.

I roll a lot.
