You poor souls, that means you are stuck with me as your instructor probably. No worries, I was hired mostly because I keep coming back in one piece after 25 years of this stuff. 99% of our weekends pass without incident reports.

You should also know that I left the board because of my tendency to just say what I mean, and that can be rude at times....In fact, there is a study showing that wilderness types are essentially antisocial. I mean, if we could get along with people, why would we be off in the middle of lake somewhere in a one person vehicle? LOL. I see myself as a grumpy version of Walter Brennan, but I keep trying to be Sir Edmund Hillary. With practice and learning some diplomacy it will come one day, I am sure.
