Hi David,

Excellent report. I think that all the correct decisions were made as the scenario panned out. The only questionable point is the actions of the Lead but panic will do strange things to people. If they are new to this position I wouldn't write them off without going over things. Many a good person has had a shakey start. It is the response to that shakey start that decides whether they will recover from it or not.

I'm glad everyone made it back safe and thanks for posting your experience.
