: In Greenland, where a wet exit is not generally taught, a kayaker, with an
: instructor standing at the bow of their kayak, first learns to stay calm
: while capsized. The student capsizes, waits a few moments, and then the
: instructor rolls them back up. After this the student progresses to side
: sculling (which is more about finding a balance position than paddle

I haven't learned to roll yet myself. I watched the video clip over and over and over and I swear when the time comes I'll do it the first time I try. The clip is beautifully shot, the roll technically executed so that the mechanics of rolling is easy to see. I can't wait to get out there.
