I have to agree completely...I packed a couple gallons of water and 5 liters of wine up front on my yak with a dry bay of clothes and without thinking, paddled off and around with Sage, Don and George right into a so-so wind and spots of jello. Well, I spent half the time being a submarine and I really had to paddle hard to stay up with the three who were bobbing along like yaks are supposed to be whereas as was pushing along a pile of water.
Another thing, weight also shows up in the ability to accelerate when needed. The position of the heavy stuff can in itself provide a hell of a fun time in surf and jello, too.Tim...thanks for letting me paddle the Explorer HV...I am truly hooked on the Nigel Dennis designs without doubt. I'm trying to figure out a way to acquire a Romany 18 or a Explorer if you happen to know of anyone selling one...
: That's why we all pack our heavy water right behind the seat, right?
