Tim,

Good point about the keyboard and the mouse. I switched to my left hand for the mouse, which made a huge difference. Many of my students have found that keyboarding and/orplaying a musical instrument can exacerbate hand/arm soreness and numbness.

BT Pete, if the hand numbness is in the third and fourth fingers, it's likely an ulnar nerve problem. If the numbness is in the index finger, check for carpal tunnel problems.
