Thanks jed,,the scirocco seems to take water right at the front of the hatch, how is the Avocet?,,this sounds verrrry interesting. Basically my search for a slightly faster and less windage boat than my Express is the goal. I haven't got a new boat in 8yrs so a plastic one seemed a reasonable expense,,and my b-day is coming up. Unless of course Eric comes up with an 8panel s&g design then all bets are off since I've got 10yds of 60" 4oz s-glass waiting in the wings.
