I've unfortunately never had the opportunity to demo the Gulfstream/Sirocco. Had one chance to try the Slipstream, but the bulkhead was too close and I couldn't even get into the boat.

Do you know the Romany? The Avocet is faster, just a skosh tippier...fit and performance is very similar. IMNSHO

If you're shopping, consider the new Wilderness Systems Tempest, too--available in composites and PE.
