Can I get one with an optional rudder?

I own an Avocet, have paddled the the Scirocco and have just about $.02 in my pocket so here goes.
The Avocet is narrow, quick, responsive, low fore-decked, rolls like a pin.
The Scirocco is wide and comfy, not especially fast (but who cares when your this comfortable?), loves to be edged, high fore-deck (did I say comfortable?) and rolls quite well.
Both have skegs, which if course ruins these boats for beople like David, but into each life some rain must fall. Both hold a ton of gear and typically have dry hatches. I'm partial to the Avocet, probably because I paid big bucks for one. I want a Scirocco, I don't care that it's not fast. I just want to try it out as a teaching boat.
Sorry I can't find anything bad to say about either boat but that's my take.
