Maybe as a catamaran

For a long distance and a sure wind it would probably be worth lashing a couple of kayaks together as a catamaran -- it would also be quite stable for larger water. Have tried that with canoes -- had seven together for Issac Lake on the Bowren Chain with six tent flies as a sail, went quite well.
Just ordered plans for a King also, must have a winter project. Need some info on Raka fast hardner. Will send another email about that.
Good Luck on the projects.

: On Bowman Lake in June, we had 3 kayaks sailing downwind under a parafoil
: tarp. It was one time I was glad for the rudders on the other 2 boats.: But, in Montana, I gotta put big, ugly numbers on my boat to legally sail it,
: and I also would have to register it. Since that's not going to happen, I
: likely won't install any rudders to go sailing any time soon.: Cormorant is coming along slowly, ordered CanoeCraft for the Prospector
: plans, and also "Building SOF Boats" by Rbt Morris to do a
: 'Morris SOF' Greenland Kayak. Also have some Redfish King plans. It's
: gonna be a busy winter!!: Shawn
