thanks for the reminders,,response to cold water immersion stress can vary person to person and situation to situation. I'm grateful to the fit fellow that did three rolls in succession with an attempt at a hand roll at the last ICE,,in 46 degree water... without headgear. After he got out of the 4ft water he said he was walking sideways for 10 minutes after that.
